The Greater Roanoke and NRV SBDC recently shared an opportunity for investors who inject capital into small businesses in Virginia to receive cash returns on those investments of up to $50,000. Eligible investors include business owners who invest in their own business.
This program, The Small Business Investment Grant Fund, is administered by the Virginia Small Business Financing Authority and is part of the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). The application deadline is very tight: March 18 – March 22.
The Greater Roanoke and NRV SBDC office is responsible for technical assistance for applications in our region. They are ready to help determine eligibility and assist with documentation preparation and applications.
