Since 1952, Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital (CFMH) has provided the region with top quality healthcare. Located in Rocky Mount, the hospital is a 37-bed facility with more than 270 employees offering 24-hour emergency as well as general medical/surgical care, obstetrical and maternity care, and outpatient services.
Fully accredited by the Joint Commission, CFMH admits more than 1,500 acute patients and treats more than 21,000 emergency room patients each year.
The hospital is constantly upgrading, integrating, and expanding services including comprehensive emergency services, primary care and specialty services in its medical office building, lab, surgery, and physical rehab (PT,OT, Speech).
While the hospital has the ability to provide state-of-the-art technology services such as MRI, CT scans, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, and 3-D Ultrasound diagnostics, it remains a community-owned and focused not-for-profit facility governed by a local board.
